Our mission

The Vice-Rector’s Office for Research and Postgraduate Studies has the mission of promoting the generation and development of research, innovation and postgraduate studies, in accordance with the quality standards and strategic guidelines of the University.

Vice-Rector for Research and Postgraduate Studies coordinates, organizes and leads the University’s research, innovation and postgraduate studies, from an institutional perspective and in accordance with the Educational Project, the Strategic Development Plan, Institutional Policies and other internal regulations.

  • Propose and apply research, innovation, technology transfer, improvement and postgraduate policies at the University.
  • Plan, propose, coordinate, encourage, enhance, manage and supervise research, innovation and postgraduate activities carried out at the University.
  • Implement action and positioning strategies in preferred or priority areas, and emerging ones, relevant to the work of the Vice-Rector’s Office.
  • Manage, maintain and privilege relationships and actions with other institutions or research and innovation centers, at a global level.
  • Promote the quality of postgraduate teaching and its continuous self-assessment.
  • Evaluate compliance with the strategic plans of the units under your control.
